TULSA, OK / BILLINGS, MT – February 3, 2012 ̶ Employee Benefit Management Services, Inc. (EBMS), a nationally-recognized Third Party Administrator (TPA) of corporate employee benefit plans, is an industry leader in providing innovative, proactive benefit plan offerings and cost control solutions for self-funded employers.
EBMS recently contracted with Benefit Informatics (BI) to support their robust, web-based data analytics technology. EBMS will utilize BI’s Data Analysis and Reporting applications in conjunction with its existing suite of data analytics applications designed to identify cost drivers, analyze utilization patterns and forecast risk and costs for customers.
“As an organization, we’ve focused our investments into areas which result in better clinical and financial outcomes for the clients we serve. From data analytics and value-based plan design to our comprehensive clinical management offerings, EBMS continues to provide innovative solutions that meet these objectives,” said Kevin Larson, EBMS President. “The Benefit Informatics platform supports EBMS’ existing reporting capabilities by integrating multiple data sources into one data warehouse and efficiently delivering this information to our clients, affiliated broker/consultants, and other business associates.”
“For more than three decades, our approach to self-funded health plan management has been to provide proactive and innovative resources to our customers,” Larson adds. “We feel that Benefit Informatics enhances our technology and administration by providing another communication platform to share clinical and financial data with our customers.”
Members of the EBMS team will utilize Benefit Informatics technology to automate reporting to clients and stop-loss providers, extract key data elements and easily access claims information from one platform. Because of the web-based platform’s flexibility, users can access plan information using one consistent system.
